Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas

We didn’t think this was going to happen, however you can head up to La Plagne and enjoy a wonderfully white Christmas. Yes, the lifts are not open, however here we are to let you into a secret… there are other things you can do!

First and foremost, with all the Covid regulations, La Plagne has decided to take the Magic of Christmas digital. That’s right, you can experience magic before your eyes with augment reality posters. You can even send this magic to your loved ones on a postcard. Make sure you have the Magic Xpereince app downloaded on your phone.

Secondly, our partners Oxygène Ski School are open for snowshoe and ski touring ski rentals. Plus you can even book a private instructor (as long as you are less than 6) and they can take you on a snowshoe, cross country or ski touring exploring session. They are also opening their snow garden so your little beginner mini-mes can begin their sliding experience.

The La Plagne Olympic Bobsleigh is also open for business. This is your chance to go as fast as you can down an iced track. It’s great, it’s intense, it’s exhilarating, and you’ll love it!

There is an open air Escape Game that you can do with your family. You get to explore the resort, learn a bit more and have quality family fun at the same time.

If you don’t want to cook, don’t worry then there are plenty of restaurants open for takeaway too. On top of that, you can go to the bakers, pharmacy, spar, plus many other local shops where you can grab last minute Christmas presents or souvenirs.

What else can you expect, I hear you say. Well, there are plenty of outdoor Covid friendly activities to do! Here are some of our favourites:

  • Human curling sessions
  • Snowman building competitions
  • Head out snow-biking with Pardibike
  • Let your little ones have a go on the mini skidoos
  • Go ice skating
  • Try out dog sledging with huskies
  • Go down the Super Tyro zip wire from Aime 2000 to Plagne Centre
