Here are the answers to a number of FAQs that will help you prepare for your stay with us.


What happens when I arrive in the resort?

Upon arrival in the resort we ask you to make your way to our Oxygène office in either Plagne Centre or Belle Plagne to collect your keys. A member of our team will be there to welcome you. They will give you all the correct information, with any pre-booked vouchers and explain exactly where your accommodation is.

 

What are your office opening times?

We are open all day Saturday from 8am to 8pm and then from 9am to 12.30pm and 2.30pm to 7pm from Sunday to Friday.

 

What happens if I arrive in resort after office hours?

If you are delayed for any reason we ask you to keep in contact with us via telephone. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you arrive outside our office hours we will make every effort to greet you when you get to resort or organise an alternative solution to accommodate you.

 

How do I contact you during my stay?

You can contact us via telephone or email depending on how urgent it is, otherwise you can come directly to one of our Oxygène offices during open times.

 

What time can I check into my accommodation?

Checkin is from 5pm onwards every Saturday, however sometimes your accommodation is ready beforehand. If you wish for an early arrival please ask us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.

 

What time do I need to check out of my accommodation?

We ask you to leave your accommodation by 10am on the Saturday morning. Our team checks your accommodation while you drop your keys off at our office. Once the checks have been done and there’s no damage, you will receive your deposit refund within a few days.

 

Am I able to modify the services I have reserved in advance?

Yes, up to 3 days before your arrival you are able to modify, add or cancel your online pre-booked services such as transfers, linen hire, cot/ high chair hire, cancellation insurance, ski lessons, equipment rental and lift passes. It is best to contact us directly by phone or email.

 

Is there internet connection?

Several of our apartments and chalets have wifi, check with us for more information. Otherwise you can rent a wifi box which you can pre-book in advanced via our online reservation system. Simply log into your online account with your client number and password or contact us directly by phone or email.

 

Where do I collect my lift pass from?

Your pre-booked lift passes will be waiting for you in your welcome pack. If you arrive after office hours and only collect your keys you will have to come to our office the next day to collect them. If you have not pre-booked them with us then you will need to make your way to the lift pass office in Plagne Centre.

 

Where do I get my pre-booked equipment from?

We have different equipment rental partners depending on where you are staying in resort. So for any pre-book equipment we will tell you which shop to go to in advance. We can also offer you a chalet fitting service where you can get your equipment fitted in the comfort of your in resort accommodation. If you are interested in this then please contact us directly.

 

Where do my ski or snowboard lessons start?

All ski or snowboard lessons are reserved with Oxygène Ski School. If you are in Belle Plagne then the ski school meeting point is in the centre of Belle Plagne, just below the Tyrollean drag lift and opposite the Pierre de Soleil accommodation. For Plagne Centre clients the meeting point is on the snow front just below the Colorado chairlift and opposite the Cocottes restaurant. Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance, especially on your first day.

 

When and how do I pay for my holiday?

If you are booking more than 30 days before the beginning of your holiday, then we ask for a 25% deposit to confirm your booking. The rest must be paid 1 month before your date of arrival. If you are booking less than 1 month before you arrive in resort then we ask for the full payment. You can pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Maestro), bank transfer, French cheque or cash.

 

When do I have to pay for my additional services?

You have two choices, you can either pay in advance at the same time as reserving or upon arrival in resort when collecting your keys. Please note however that for all ski school bookings the full payment must be taken upon reservation.

 

Are there any local taxes to pay?

Yes, when you arrive in resort there is a local tax payment of 99 cents per adult (18 years+). Children do not have to pay this.

 

How do cancelations work?

Any cancellation must be given in notice to the agency by registered letter. If you have subscribed to our cancellation insurance we will refund the full payment. If you do not have the cancellation insurance then for any cancellations made more than 30 days in advance the 25% deposit will be retained. A cancellation made less than 30 days then the 25% deposit will be held and the other 75% retained unless the agency is able to re-rent the accommodation.

 

Do I have to clean the property?

We ask for you to leave the accommodation clean and tidy and remove all rubbish however we include a cleaning cost in the global price. If the accommodation is left in an unnecessary state and things are broken then there will be an additional charge taken out of your deposit.

 

Can I book catering in an apartment?

We have a selection of catered and self-catering accommodation. In some of our self catered properties there is an option to add breakfast. If you would like this please enquire at the time of booking.

 

Are pets allowed in the accommodation?

The general rule is that animals are not allowed, however we do have some accommodation that do accept them. This is clearly stated on our website accommodation pages, otherwise please enquire directly with us.
