Review of the winter season 2022/2023
The season has ended and it is time for Oxygène Immobilier to take stock of this winter season 2022/2023. Between the occupancy rate of the properties, the occupancy rate of the resort and the number of ski passes sold, find out the results of this season.
From December 10th to April 29th, Oxygène Immobilier recorded more than 2200 rental contracts, a slight increase compared to the winter 2021/2022, which despite the restrictions linked to the covid, was a very good season for our agency.
Since the opening of the resort in mid-December, the occupancy rate has been over 80%. The Plagne tourist office recorded peaks of 95% occupancy during the winter holidays in February.
This year, snow cover has been a real concern for mountain tourism professionals. Indeed, some low altitude resorts had to close their ski areas due to lack of snow. In La Plagne, 70% of the ski area is located at an altitude of over 2000m, which means that there is plenty of snow throughout the winter.
In order to optimise the number of rentals during the winter season, we work with tour operators such as La Plagne Resort, TravelSki, Airbnb and Oxygène Ski Collection.
At Oxygène Immobilier, we have intensified our team this year. Indeed, we have increased the number of receptionists from 2 to 3 in order to deal with customer requests, whether by email, telephone or physical reception. For the technical teams, who work throughout the season to improve the comfort of our customers and owners, there were 3. In addition, we have created a governance team, consisting of a housekeeper who is in permanent contact with the cleaning teams. She was accompanied throughout the season by a maintenance worker.
We work in close collaboration with the Oxygène Ski & Snowboard school in order to offer additional services to our clients (group lessons, private lessons or equipment hire). Preferential rates are applied to these different services.
Our agency also offers clients a 15% discount on La Plagne and Paradiski ski passes. Our clients can book their ski passes online on our website, by phone or by email up to 1 week before their arrival. As well as benefiting from low prices, they don't waste time at the lift desks and get their passes as soon as they arrive at the agency. In total, we sold more than 3200 passes during the season.
In 2022, Oxygène Immobilier and the Oxygène ski & snowboard school opened an OSC (Oxygène Ski Collection) travel agency. Present in 12 of the most prestigious French ski resorts, OSC will take you to the slopes of the biggest ski areas such as the 3 valleys, Paradiski or Tignes-Val d'Isère...
In addition, Oxygène Immobilier has created BCS, a maintenance company in La Plagne. Baptiste takes care of the estimates and the work of your accommodation.
