What better way to enjoy quality couple time then to jet off on a ski holiday together to the French Alps this winter! Just imagine those snowy walks, romantic meals, and cosy evenings together, all set in our beautiful mountains of La Plagne… You’ll see, the snow here simply sparkles with romance.
We know there are so many things to think about when booking a ski holiday, especially if it is your first holiday together, or even your first time skiing or snowboarding. Well, here we are with our Top 3 Tips to help make your ‘couple holiday’ the best holiday ever…
TOP TIP 1 - Find the perfect accommodation
Yes, it goes without saying really, however you’ll be spending a lot of time in your accommodation so make sure you pick it well! Chat together and see what you both like style wise, space wise and budget wise. TOP TIP 2. Communicate and compromise
Make sure you are both on the same wave length regarding what you want to do during your holiday too. Possibly one person is up for relaxing and the other wants to ski all day long. Look for that happy medium beforehand to avoid any confrontations during your stay in La Plagne.
For example, being in the French Alps normally includes skiing or snowboarding and possibly it’s your first time and your other half is a pro. Don’t worry about it! You can both get lessons or guiding in the morning with a professional ski school, then after lunch you can head out together for some fun couple time. Remember, a couples holiday does not mean you have to spend all day together. You’ll probably appreciate each other more once you’ve had your sample to sliding at your level.

TOP TIP 3. Research the resort
You should do a little research of the resort beforehand, see where it is and what you can do while on holiday. Couple time is great, but it is even better when you get to do fun things together.
La Plagne is a superb resort full of plenty of things to do. Some activities you can do include nighttime sledging, ice-skating or swimming in a heated outdoor pool. You can also try out a bobsleigh, go bowling or slide down a 600 meter zip-wire. There are some great bars and restaurants around the resort too, so you’ll have plenty of chances to grab a hot-chocolate or vin-chaud break together and enjoy the views. Les Inversens - Simple snack food, crepes and oysters, with the best view in town at the top of the Roche De Mio.
Le Chairlift - Traditional cuisine and local specialities all set in a spacious, well decorated restaurant in Plagne Villages.
