This year Christmas day and New Years day fall on a Saturday. Due to this, all our Christmas and New Year accommodation options start from Sunday to Sunday, meaning you are able to celebrate in style, without having to cut your celebrations short to travel home.
So, what is going on during this festive period? You can expect to see Father Christmas and his reindeers flying around resort. There will be fireworks, skiing and snowboarding, lots of sledging, snowman building, ice-skating and good quality family or friend time (and plenty more - read our article ‘A few of our favourite things (in La Plagne)’).

On the 31st December is the Neige de Feu (Snow of Fire), a 360° 20 minute fireworks display taking place from the top of the "Dou du Praz" (summit of Plagne Villages). It will be visible from all the high-altitude villages with music with accompanied music on the R' La Plagne Radio Station.
